The final Birth of the Sith character introduction (with just six days until Birth of the Sith will start to get written!) is Lord Tobos.
Tobos is from Korriban and was heavily immersed in the Dark Side of the Force when he crossed paths with Vulcan Gunner, who had experimented heavily with the Dark Side following his expulsion and exile from the Jedi Order. In a cantina on Korriban, Tobos confronted Vulcan and challenged him to a lightsaber duel to prove his mastery of the Dark Side.
However, Tobos proved to be no match for Vulcan, who easily overpowered him in the duel, which left Tobos with a large scar on his forehead from a hit by Vulcan. From there, Vulcan took on the mantle of Lord Nacluv and declared himself the Dark Lord of the Sith. Tobos pledged himself to Nacluv and his teachings.
Together, Nacluv and Tobos built a Sith Academy on Korriban, where they could train other Dark Side users, and recruit them to their cause to overthrow the galaxy. Before part one of Birth of the Sith, Nacluv departs Korriban, leaving Tobos in charge of the academy. Tobos is then ultimately responsible for the training of all Sith recruits in the academy, and making sure their skills are up-to-par to what Nacluv expects from them.
National Novel Writing Month kicks off next week, which will mark the start of the rewrite of Birth of the Sith. Stay tuned for more!
